The Evolution of Performance & Design
This exhibition will present a thrilling juxtaposition between the iconic vehicles of the 1920s and 30s—the Art Deco era known for its bold geometric designs and luxurious craftsmanship—and the sleek modern marvels of today crafted with cutting-edge materials and futuristic lines.
East of Detroit
New York State was once home to over 100 different automobile manufacturers. While most New York automakers were small, there were great successes like Pierce- Arrow (Buffalo) and Franklin (Syracuse). This exhibit provides an in-depth look at the automobile industry and auto import business in New York.

Bottling Plant Mini-Exhibit
The Museum’s building was the original home to the bottled waters of the Saratoga Spa State Park. Owned and operated by the State of New York. Take a tour of the history of our beautiful building that was first opened to the public in 1935. The Bottling Plant exhibit is located in the Bailey Entrance Area.

Racing in New York
The history of automobile racing in New York State goes back to 1896 when six cars competed in the state’s first auto race. 1948 was another pivotal year, when the first Grand Prix in the nation was raced on the streets and roads of Watkins Glen - continuing a long tradition of Racing in New York State.
